So as I would be looking after your pets, naturally you will want to know a little bit about me so...
Hey I am Dannielle the proud owner of The Happy Hounds Club, I am 30 years old & I was born in Colchester! I have a son called Jesse, a miniature dachshund called Waffle who is 5 & a Syrian hamster called Norman! I am a massive animal lover - I always have been. Growing up our house was always filled with different types of pets such as dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, fish & small lizards! When I was younger I also used to ride horses - which is something i'd love to get back into! I pride myself on being a trustworthy & caring person and I really do believe our animals are a gift. I always love and care for each one of my clients pets as if they were my own.
So why The Happy Hounds Club?
It has always been a dream of mine to work with animals so to say I now do is a real pinch me moment! Last year I actually completed an online Veterinary Care Assistant Course but unfortunately I couldn't find a position where the hours suited around my family. I had thought about dog walking & pet sitting before but was nervous to make that jump! After many long conversations with my family and friends I decided to go for it and its been the best decision I have ever made! The relationships I have built with my clients & their pets are so special to me. There really is nothing more rewarding than growing that trust and bond with your fur friends and building The Happy Hounds Club has been amazing.
I have completed a Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Qualification online, I am fully insured with Pet Plan Sanctuary, I have an up to date DBS check and I have attended a Canine First Aid & CPR training course which was lead by the brilliant Rachel Bean RVN. And I am currently working through my Canine Communications Training Course.
